Failan
Failan (파이란 Pairan) is a 2001 South Korean film written and directed by Song Hae-seong. The film was adapted from a novel by Jiro Asada. It stars Choi Min-sik and the Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung, who plays a woman named Failan who, after the death of her parents, comes to Korea in search of her remaining family. For his directing job, Song Hae-seong won the South Korean film industry's Grand Bell Award for the best director of 2001.
